WELCOME TO THE CHAPEL
The Chapel gladly welcomes visitors and, in fact, we look forward to having visitors join us! In order to make your visit to The Chapel easier, here are some things about us:
Where is The Chapel located?
Our church currently meets at the La Mesa Community Center in the Recreation Room. There are signs that will direct you to the building where we meet. For detailed directions to the church, please click here. There is plenty of parking at the Community Center as well as handicapped parking.
When does The Chapel meet?
We meet on Sunday mornings at 10:30am for about an hour and a half.
What happens on a typical Sunday morning?
Most Sundays we spend some time praising God through song and prayer. A large portion of our church service is spent hearing and learning about the Bible during the sermon time. At the conclusion of the service we usually have a time for snacks and fellowship so you can get to know us a bit better.
What do I do with my kids?
All children are welcome to stay with their parents and be a part of the main church service or they can also be a part of the Sunday School classes that we offer.
- We have a “cry room,” (located in the kitchen) which has been designated for nursing babies and toddlers. Parents stay with their children.
- Toddlers and preschool children ages 2 through 5 can be a part of the Preschool Class in which they sing, hear a Bible story and do an age-appropriate craft
- Children older than 5 years of age can be a part of the Elementary Class. After a time of singing, kids hear a Bible-based story and take part in activities that help them grow in their understanding of who God is.
